The newest version of WordPress – 3.4 “Green” – was launched on June 13, 2012. By doing some simple math we can quickly find out that over 14 million downloads in total translate to approximately 200,000 downloads a day. The previous version – 3.3 “Sonny” – received “only” 115,000 downloads a day.
