How to install your new ThemeFuse WordPress theme

Congrats, you are the owner of a new original WordPress theme and I’m sure you are eager to start using it right away. The purpose of this tutorial is to help you install your theme. So let’s begin.

Lets take our Medical WordPress theme as an example for this tutorial. First you need to login and download the theme from My themes section in your account.

To install the theme you need to unzip the content of the downloaded archive. Your Medica Standard.zip archive folder structure should look like this:

Step 1. Upload the medica.zip archive into your WordPress admin

Login to your WordPress admin, go to the Appearance tab from the left sidebar menu and upload the medica.zip archive.

Step 2. Activate the theme

After the upload is complete, press the Activate button.

Step 3. Download and install the actual theme

Up until now you have installed the source files that facilitate the download and installation of the theme directly from our servers. This way we can install, activate and make all the necessary configurations automatically so you won’t have to do them manually. To start this process, please press the “Download & Install Now” button.

If your server is blocking our installing and downloading scripts, most likely you will get the following error screen. No worries, the theme can still be installed fairly easily, but you’ll need to to do it manually. Here is a detailed tutorial.

Step 4. Installing demo content (or not)

After the download and installation are complete, you will be redirected to this page (image below) where you can choose to install demo content for the theme. If you choose to do it – which we really recommend for most users – just press the “Import content” button and the theme will look exactly like the one on our live demo. If you choose not to install the Demo content, just skip this part by pressing the right side button.

That’s it! Congrats, now you have the theme installed. Enjoy!
