display a different picture once I click on a particular picture in the gallery?

Meaning, that art gallery showing that picture menu, once I click on a picture, can I have a different picture show up and have the preview picture remain the same?

Do I go into javascript about this? Please help!

Hi,
for each image in HTML template you have this code:

<img src="SMALL IMAGE LINK" width="228" height="170" alt="" /> 

<span class="imgslide">

 <a href="BIG IMAGE LINK" class="galleryLightbox" rel="images_carousel"><img class="pngfix" src="images/framegallery.png" width="248" height="184" alt="Picture of the month" /></a>

 </span>

Just replace the SMALL IMAGE LINK and BIG IMAGE LINK with the thumbnail image and the image that would be opened in lightbox.
