Max - does the shortcode for homepage recent posts support excluding categories?

if so how would it be used in this:

[category_latest_post items="1"]

this shortcode get posts only from one category, not from many and doesn't have exclude option.

you can have a look in category_latest_posts.php file (library\tfuse_mods\thememodules\shortcodes)
