  1. Hello. Just purchased C3 to use solely for a blog. As much as I love the original homepage set-up, I do not want it as my home page.

Instead, when someone types in the URL I'd like a simple blog-style page that shows posts only from a certain category. How would I go about changing this, or can it be changed at all?

I'm not sure if you offer this kind of support, but it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  2. Hi,

You can copy c3/library/tfuse_mods/templates_cat/blog.php to index.php file.

    Thank you

  4. If you could please shed a little light...I did what you suggested above first through the editor in the admin area, but nothing on the page changed except for the sample post at the bottom.

So then I made a copy of the blog.php template and renamed the copy index.php and uploaded it to the proper directory so that it would override the original index template. Still, nothing has changed. I've cleared my cache, closed the site and opened it again but still nothing has changed? What am I doing wrong?

  5. Hi,

    1. make a c3/library/rox_mods/templates_cat/blog.php file copy
    2. rename it to index.php
    3. Copy it in root forder and overwrite default file.
    4. Done

Also you can send me installation link, username and password to http://themefuse.com/contact/

    Thank you

  6. Ok, I'll send you my login info because I did the above steps but nothing changed (or at least it's not showing up as if it did). Please look out for an email shortly. Thanks so much for the help!

  7. I sent my login info through the form. No huge rush, but whenever you can assist me would be appreciated. I guess there's something I'm missing from your steps above. Thought I did the exact same process but nothing changed...

  8. Hello,

If you could please, when you get the time, have a look at the site & login info you asked me to send. I have been trying to work with the theme myself but nothing seems to be changing. I think what I'm confused about is which index.php file I'm supposed to override. I know you said the root directory, but are you referring to the root of the site, the themes folder in WP or the specific C3 theme folder? From what I can see there are 3 different index.php files and I've tried working with at least 2 of them, but nothing is changing.

Also, I have tried completely uninstalling the theme and then reinstalling so that I could select the Rox framework options manually, but wordpress no longer gives me that option when I reinstall. It keeps the same settings as if I never uninstalled, which confuses me.

Ideally, I'd just like my URL to go straight to the blog-style page (blog category template) instead of the normal homepage set-up. I just need to know which index.php file to override, so please let me know specifically which folder I should be looking to upload my newly created index file into (site root directory, wordpress themes folder or C3 root directory). Thanks.

  10. Hello Sergey,

I created a new account for you on the blog and sent all of the login info (including FTP login) via the contact form. Please let me know if you need anything else. I hope to be able to get this taken care of in the next few days so we can configure our content and launch the blog. Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it!
