I see under the SEO tab of the ThemeFuse framework section that you can activate sitemaps. I have done so, but I do not see a sitemap anywhere. How do I make it work.

The site map can be found in the wordpress installation root folder, named as sitemap.xml.

I don't see it there, I've looked. Could it be a permission issue? I think my wordpress installation cannot write the .htaccess file, so might that be the same problem? Is there an error log that would tell me why it can't create the xml file? Do you know how to fix that problem? Or might it be another problem.

Try to use a wordpress plugin like Google XML Sitemaps, and see if it is working.
