Hi George,
Am sorry, but again am stuck.
Actually the home page is perfect. That is exactly how i want it to be. But now, i am not sure how to have my blog page to display all the articles. I would like my website itself to look like : http://themefuse.com/demo/wp/photoartist/
With similar pages.
I want my blog page to look like this: http://themefuse.com/demo/wp/photoartist/category/blog/
and my gallery pages like this: http://themefuse.com/demo/wp/photoartist/sliders-list/landscape-nature/.
I have been trying but could not make it happen.
Can you help me with this please.
regards
avi
Hi,
I want my blog page to look like this: http://themefuse.com/demo/wp/photoartist/category/blog/
Go to Posts -> Categories and from there create a new category, for example name it Blog. After this go to Appearance -> Menus and from the left Categories tab choose the category that you just created and click on Add to menu button. After this when you create or edit a post, from the right Categories tab choose that category for the post. Save the changes and done.
and my gallery pages like this: http://themefuse.com/demo/wp/photoartist/sliders-list/landscape-nature/.
You can create your sliders from Sliders menu, which it seems that you already did. Now, all you have to do is to go to Appearance -> Menus and choose desired sliders that you would like to add in menu from Sliders tab and then click on Add to menu button. Save the changes and done.
Cheers,
Max.
Hi,
I'm using the beautiful theme PhotoArtist and I'm having the same problem as Carrington. I want to get rid of the information/ text box on each photo on the homepage slider.
Hopefully you can help me with that..
Thanks,
Laura
Hi Laura,
go to Settings -> Reading -> Homepage displays and choose from there Your latest posts option. Then go to FuseFramework -> Homepage and from there choose the slider that you would like to be visible on your homepage.
P.S. I already made the changes on your site.
Cheers,
Max.
Hey Max,
I'm sorry to bother you again! But I have the same issue on my new pages. And I tried your instructions, but I don't think that fixes it.
On my sliders 'culture' 'beautiful' and 'passion' I want to get rid of this text box. And I would love to have the same navigation as on the homepage slider, I mean that you can push the arrow left or right for the next or previous image and the small (hided) navigation menu below the page.
I hope you can help me again.
Thanks in advance!
Laura
Hi,
you don't have to create pages for each slider. Just go to Appearance -> Menus and on the left side you would see the list of all your slider. From there select the ones that you would like to be displayed on your menu and click on add to menu button. Save menu and done.
Cheers,
Max.
Hey Max,
That works for the arrows and the navigation menu, but the text boxes are still visible.
Is there a way to get rid of the text boxes in the left upper corner? On the homepage you managed to erase them for me, but I don't know how you did that. I can't seem to find settings for my sliders.
Thank you!
Laura
Hi,
Add this code in the style.css file of the child theme:
#slide_info_container {
display: none !important;}
Cheers,
George
