  1. Hi,

I've entered the shortcode for twitter on my homepage and also copied and pasted the shortcode from the demo page and neither of them have any tweets showing, it just displays the header.

Not sure if I'm just being dumb ... would you mind having a quick look at it?

    Thanks,
    Elise

  2. Hi Elise,
is very strange that is not working. Did you made any changes in theme files?
Maybe the problem is in ~ sign in your link. Can you try without this sign?

    Cheers,
    Max.

  3. Hi Max,

I have a similar problem. I'm doing my site's homepage and when I try to insert the twitter shortcode it simply doesn't appear. I insert the nest code:

    [row]
    [col_1_2 style="box border box_blue"][twitter username="AlexCaballer0" items="3" title="Twitter"][/col_1_2]
    [/row]

And it doesn't work. I don't know why I have this issue. Can you help me?

    Thanks!

  13. Hi,
sorry, can't find the reason of the problem for the moment, still working on this. The problem seems to be from the server as sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Please don't change the details I would try to solve this problem as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

  15. Hi,
please contact your hosting provider and ask them to activate file_get_contents function and then I would be able to solve the problem as now when I'm trying I get this error:
Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration

Also, it seems that you changed the details again.

    Cheers,
    Max.

  16. Hello Max,
I didn't touch anything of the page. I only change some widgets. If I can't touch anything of the site, tell it to me and I will not touch anything else.

In the other hand, I will contact with 1and1, which is my hosting provider, to ask for that function. when I have an answer I will let you know.

    Thanks!

  18. This is the response I received from my hosting provider:

"Thank you very much for your email.

Please indicate the steps needed to reproduce the error so we can verify the problem.

If you have any additional questions please contact us.

So, please, tell me the steps to tell them to 1and1.

    Thanks!

  19. Hi,
there are no steps. I've used the file_get_content function library/tfuse_framework/functions/tweet_class.php on line 19. And this function is not supported by your hosting or is stopped there.

    Cheers,
    Max.

  20. Hello Max:

This is the response I received from my hosting provider:

"To enable the PHP function file_get_contents, you must type the following line in php.ini that will be created in every directory where you want these settings to take effect:

    allow_url_fopen = On"

I hope that solves the problem
