Hi,

I created custom post types using the Types plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/types/). How do I create custom views/templates for these types? where do I position them?

I tried putting them directly under the child theme folder, but they are not picked up (get 404 page).

Cheers,

Huh? I would like the demo content reinstalled again. :( I wish is worked the way it should..
What do you need for the fix?
You still need host entry as listed above..
I have a book coming so I can make sure I learn how to backup things before changing a page ;) Sorry!

Hi,

Thanks! I already figured it will go this direction and indeed it works. Unfortunately I now experience another (similar) problem with which I don't think javascript can help. When a user submits "similar" comments, it redirects to the same style-less error page. Any idea how to solve this one?

Hi,

In the child theme create a new folder and name it as "js".
Then create a copy of the general.js(js) file in the child theme, and at the end of this file add this code:

jQuery(document).ready(function()
{

Hi,

Is there a way to customize the error page in case users don't fill in all the required fields in the comments form? At the moment, the page is redirected to a style-less error page. Ideally, the user will be shown the same page (the post page) withe the missing fields highlighted. Is that possible?

Hi,
first of all you need to go to Tools -> Import and from there choose Wordpress option, then install the plugin and choose the file that you need to import, in our case you need to choose wordpress-medica.xml_.txt file located in install/uploads directory of the theme. Then you need to copy the content of 2012 folder in wp-content/uploads directory on your server. Then create sliders and sidebars + you would have to edit each page because all images link would be wrong and have to be changed.

Cheers,
Max.

I get "Remote server returned error response 404 Not Found" when installing the demo data. this site was installed to the root domain which is in the private details.. but I have to do a host entry to the IP of the site given (because I did not want to change the IP of the www record yet.. )
Anyway.. Godaddy is the hosting if that clues in on the issue. I tried FTPing the data up but that did not make a difference
