  1. Hi!

How can I prevent that the posts dublicate on
    • Slider
    • Featured posts
    • Category-boxes at the bottom.

It's fine if I have a post in the slider and in any of the other two parts, but when a post show up first in the slider, then at the top in the featured post and maybe yet another time in the three boxes below the boxes it looks a little silly.

    Help is appreciated!
    Thanks
    //Oscar

  2. Hi Oscar,
in this case you can use image uploader population method for slider and you would upload images and add desired text for slider. What about the bottom boxes, nothing can be done there as in Featured tabs are shown all latest posts, most commented and most visited.

    Cheers,
    Max.

  3. Hi Max,

I realise you're getting tired of me and my unusual questions...

But surely there is a way to check for all the ids in an array in the featured listing (latest post only of course) and then compare those to the the posts that are listed in the box and thus avoiding duplicate posts.

In the popular and commented they should appear twice, you're right about that!

    Sorry for the trouble!

  4. Hi Oscar,
sure there need to be a way, but I'm really very limited in time and can't get into codding and find solutions for this. This are queries of some customizations and I would really like to help but don't have time for this. Sorry, if you would find a way and would like to share it on forum, you are more than welcome.

    Sorry for inconveniences.
    Cheers,
    Max.

  5. Yeah, I'll try, but I don't really get the queries in the featured_posts.

I'll try some more and post the solution if I find it.
