can you guide me how to personalise the room page in Welcome Inn theme with my own descriptions and name...

Hi,
If you want yo customize you room page description go to Dashboard -> Posts. Now chose to create a new post (new room) or to edit the already present one.
1. You have to give the name to the new room / edit the name to the present room
2. In the WelcomeInn - Single post tab specify the sidebar position (Left, Right, Default)
3. In the Categories tab, specify the category of that post. In our case if we create a room description, may set as a child of the rooms category.
4. In the WelcomeInn - Post media tab, define the Main image of the post, the image that will be visible in the post preview
5. In the WelcomeInn - Header welcome bar tab define the header image of the post.
6. In the Post editor from top, you can add your own details about the room page, attaching images/videos and writing descriptive text. The images/videos can be attached using this button
You also cna use ThemeFuse shortcodes to design your content.
7. To edit post excerpt first at top-right side fin the Screen Options button, press it and check the except option. Then go to the bottom at the excerpt tab and there you can define the post preview content.
8. Press Publish if you want to pulish the post already or Preview to view the moment result, without publishing the post.If you need more assistance write us.

Hi < as I said I am not a really good with what I am doing....and do not feel conforfortable in setting up new posts, ect...I chose this templates because it has all I need .
that been said, all I am asking if for you to point me to the location/page, post or what ever it is for this page which I like as it is:

If you go to mayokainn.com, click on rooms tab and the page that opens is the one that I need to work on, which is NOT the same as in the posts
(all 3 posts currently presents about the rooms are related to the latest news and promos...even if they are categorized as "rooms"..
can you please have a look at the wordpress Dasboard and tell me where this page can be edited?

Hi,
1. Each room description you can fin in the Dashboard -> Posts -> All Posts, here you select the post you are interested for and go to edit mode.
2. If you want edit the Rooms page, it defined as a category. Go to Dashboard -> Posts -> Categories, select the category you are interested for and go to the edit mode.
3. If you want to edit the items from sidebar, like Latest News&Promos, you have to go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets, and here from right side chose the sidebar module that is attached to you page. For Rooms page is set Sidebar Category module, expend it and edit the preset widgets, add new widgets or remove them.

I have been trying to edit the category room a million times... there is no text to edit next to the picture> I want to change the latin text of Mayoka suite into:
"This spacious master suite occupies the entire second floor of the Inn. The bedroom with its grand teak four poster bed and polished hardwood floor overlooks the clear water of the infinity pool and boasts the finest 180° views of the Caribbean Sea.
Ample room within the suite allows for an oversized walk through dressing room, adjoined by an en-suite bathroom where you will find two vanity units, a walk in shower and a freestanding slipper bathtub"
I only can edit text right after the header and before the footer.. I can't find the text to modify for each room explanation. If you can do it for me just for the mayoka Suite and tell me phisically how you did it I would greatly appreciate it... sorry to bother but time is running out and I am nowhere close to be ready for the opening

Hi,
I understand the only problem is that you can not edit the post preview.
I'll guide you using some screens.
To do this, whenever you create/edit a post, find on the top-right side of the edit page the Screen Options button, press it and a hidden menu will expend, from here make sure that the Excerpt option is checked, if is not, check it. Then go to the bottom of the page and find the Excerpt tab. Expend it, and here you can edit the post preview by inserting/removing text or HTML code.
