Auto update from 1.0 to 2.0 is not possible

Although the themes look exactly the same, because In Shape 2.0 was built on an entirely different framework, an easy auto update is not possible. So if you already purchased and have a website integrated on the In Shape 1.0 you can’t upgrade to 2.0. You’ll need to start implementing your website from scratch.

We’ve replaced the theme in your account

Starting May 5, 2016, we’ve replaced your In Shape 1.0 theme in your account with In Shape 2.0. Starting with this date In Shape 1.0 will not be available for download anymore.

Updates & Support for In Shape 1.0

Even if we removed the 1.0 theme from your ThemeFuse account, we will continue to release updates for it (WordPress compatibility, bug fixes, etc) and they will be available directly from your WordPress update page. Moreover, you can contact us with any questions regarding In Shape 1.0 since we’ll continue offering support for it.

Conclusion

Basically, not much is changing for the clients of In Shape 1.0, you’ll continue to get updates for the theme, we’ll answer and give support on our helpdesk if you have any questions or encounter any issues, the only thing changing is that you can’t download the 1.0 theme anymore. If you plan to develop another website on In Shape just login into your account and download the 2.0 version and you’ll get all the features and benefits listed above.

Do you have a document that details the steps that should be taken to update to the 2.0 version of the In Shape theme? Can I install both themes on the same word press installation and switch to the 2.0 version once I am ready?

    • Hi, I'd love to tell you it is that simple, but unfortunately, an automatic update from In Shape 1.0 to 2.0 is not possible because the theme was actually built from scratch on a new framework. We knew this from the start but made the decision go move forward since the pros and advantages outweigh the cons.Yes, you could install the 2.0 theme in a new folder on your server (example www.your-domain.com/new) and work your website there, and when you are finished just move this new install with In Shape 2.0 to the main website accessible by your users. This is the best thing to do for a little downtime as possible. Hope this helps.
